Snow Home Inspections was founded by Greg Snow, an American professional with over 30 years in construction, to fill a gap in the Northern Portugal market: independent, rigorous inspections explained in plain language.
For decades, Greg worked as a superintendent and project manager in California, on construction and renovation projects worth up to $10 million, including public schools, telecom central offices and commercial fit-outs. He is a certified carpenter through the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and OSHA safety trained, and he knows a building from the foundation to the finish.
We see too many foreign buyers close a deal without really understanding the condition of the house. Damp, mould, structural issues and old electrical wiring tend to show up later, and they cost a lot.
Our mission is simple: give you the facts before you sign, in English or Portuguese, so you can decide with confidence.
